Quick Dips

Test-drive your next group cruise. Low commitment. Maximum experience.

Quick Dips are carefully curated cruise experiences designed for professionals, group organizers, and community leaders who want to scout cruise ships as venues before booking their own group events. But here's the thing - you don't need to be planning an event to benefit from a Quick Dip. Whether you're evaluating venues for a future group or simply looking for a sophisticated getaway without the long-term commitment of a traditional cruise, Quick Dips offer the perfect balance: real ship experiences, incredible destinations, and the freedom to explore at your own pace. Spend 3 - 4 days aboard a carefully selected ship, explore the ports, experience the onboard programming, and return home inspired.

Whether you're exploring for business planning or personal inspiration, Quick Dips are for curious travelers ready to experience something real.

Quick dip questions You Might Have

  • No - and that's intentional. Quick Dips are pre-negotiated stateroom inventory we're holding on regular sailings with each cruise line (the same way we'd secure inventory for a full group event). You're experiencing the cruise exactly as your future attendees would - authentic operations, real service standards, actual dining and entertainment. There are no group activities, no manufactured previews, just the genuine cruise experience - minus your magic layered on top. This gives you honest insight into what you'd actually be booking for your group.

  • Great question! We specifically curated these sailings with seasickness concerns in mind. Every Quick Dip features 0-1 sea days, which means you're in port almost every day with the option to get off the ship. The Caribbean itineraries also sail calmer waters compared to ocean crossings. Plus, modern cruise ships have stabilizers that significantly reduce motion. If you're nervous, we recommend: choosing a mid-ship cabin (less movement), bringing seasickness medication or patches, and knowing you can disembark at ports if needed. Many people who worry about seasickness find these short sailings are the perfect way to test their comfort level without committing to a week at sea.

  • This varies slightly by cruise line, but generally your fare includes: your stateroom, meals in main dining rooms and buffet venues, onboard entertainment and activities, access to pools and fitness centers, and port stops. Virgin Voyages goes further with all restaurants included (no upcharges for specialty dining), basic beverages, WiFi, and gratuities. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean include main dining, with specialty restaurants available for an additional fee.

What's typically NOT included: alcoholic beverages, spa services, shore excursions, specialty fitness classes, and casino/shopping purchases.

Think of it like an all-inclusive resort - your baseline experience is covered, premium add-ons are extra.

  • Absolutely! While Quick Dips are designed with venue scouting in mind, you can book as many staterooms as you need (within our available inventory). Bring a colleague to evaluate together, bring your partner for a quick getaway, or bring friends who are curious about cruising. Many event planners bring a co-worker or board member to get multiple perspectives on the venue. Just keep in mind that Virgin Voyages is adults-only (18+), so families with children would want to choose Celebrity or Royal Caribbean instead.

  • Yes! Here's why: Even if you don't have an immediate event on the calendar, firsthand cruise experience is an invaluable professional asset. When the right opportunity comes along - whether that's 6 months or 2 years from now - you'll be able to speak confidently about cruise venues, answer stakeholder questions, and pitch with authority. Plus, many of our clients book Quick Dips simply as a low-commitment way to experience cruising for the first time or to explore a new cruise line. Whether you're building your professional toolkit or just want a great 3 - 4 day getaway, Quick Dips deliver value either way.

Whether you're exploring Quick Dips or planning your signature group cruise, we're here to help.
